The SAP Authorization Consultant will perform upgrade (SU25) steps, roles and authorization adjustments, unit testing, and coordinate Integration & User Acceptance testing, Cutover, Go-live, and Hypercare.
Main Responsibilities:
Key Requirements
Upgrade Execution (SU25 Steps)
Perform SU25 maintenance to synchronize authorization objects and profiles post-upgrade510.
Address SPDD/SPAU adjustments during technical upgrades to resolve authorization conflicts in custom code612.
Utilize tools like SUM (Software Update Manager) for system upgrades and data migration to SAP S/4HANA10.
Role and Authorization Management
Redesign roles using SAP Profile Generator (PFCG) to align with organizational changes post-upgrade811.
Resolve Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts and apply SAP GRC Access Control for risk mitigation59.
Implement derived roles and automate assignments via HR job mappings to streamline user access11.
Testing and Deployment
