Role Summary
We are seeking Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to drive lead qualification, prospect engagement, and outbound sales efforts in support of Argano’s growing business units (Team White and Team Orange). As a key link between Marketing and Sales, the BDR will vet and advance marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into the sales funnel, conduct outbound prospecting, and help maintain momentum with potential clients. This role is critical to ensuring that marketing investments are maximized, leads are properly triaged, and sales pipelines are consistently fueled with qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Management
Engage inbound and marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) through timely outreach and qualification based on BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) criteria.
Serve as the first point of contact for prospects, assessing needs and capturing critical qualification information to support smooth handoff to sales teams.
Maintain visibility and engagement with prospects to ensure leads are nurtured and remain “warm” until transferred to sales.
Accurately document all lead activities, interactions, and statuses within the CRM system to ensure data integrity and enable full pipeline visibility.
Outbound Prospecting & Campaign Execution
Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other outreach activities to generate interest, uncover new opportunities, and drive net-new leads into the sales pipeline.
Support the launch and execution of outbound sales campaigns aligned to priority services and targeted buyer personas.
Research target accounts and identify new prospective clients through market research and account profiling.
Sales and Marketing Alignment
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Business Development, and Sales teams to align outreach strategies with broader demand generation and go-to-market campaigns.
Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and emerging market trends.
Ensure seamless coordination and lead handoff processes with sales counterparts to support conversion and opportunity progression.
Performance & Results
Consistently meet and exceed individual KPIs related to lead engagement, qualification rates, and outbound activity metrics.
Contribute to team goals by driving new business opportunities, enhancing pipeline quality, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
Business Impact
Maximize marketing investments through efficient and effective lead qualification, triage, and follow-up.
Generate new interest in Argano’s services through targeted outbound sales efforts, expanding market reach.
Improve sales productivity by providing sellers with well-qualified, well-documented leads ready for opportunity advancement.
Strengthen the connection between Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales to drive a more aligned, performance-driven revenue organization.
Required Experience & Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, demand generation, or a related field.
Experience in qualifying leads and conducting outbound prospecting in a B2B environment, preferably in consulting, technology, or professional services.
Strong understanding of lead qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT) and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and operate in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Collaborative spirit with a strong desire to work cross-functionally across sales and marketing teams.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
