Job description

For a UN Agency based in Berlin, NTT DATA is currently looking for a Power BI Developer to provide IT development services using the Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate (which are the agreed technologies for the portfolio management systems). All tasks will be performed on remote.

You will be responsible for:

Ensure compliance to UN code standards and/or design guidelines and templates related to the platform;
Maintain and improve the portfolio management portals suite according to the provided documentation and propose improvements to the project team. Potential improvements include;

New tabs and subsections containing graphs, charts. menus and content
Updates to menus and navigation
Enhancements to search using elements such as tags
Graphical improvements to the user interface

Functionally test the entire system and fix eventual issues and improve performance;
Create and update technical documentation describing the work performed.

For this role you will need to have experience in:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Power BI development, including:

Model, and create/modify pipelines in xMart
Apply views in xMart as per the guidelines
Develop and maintain PowerBI applications
Develop and maintain Microsoft PowerApps applications
Develop and maintain Microsoft SharePoint Lists
HTML knowledge and experience

Deliver the requirements in the agreed report options design/development platform.
Communicate clearly and discuss, pros and cons promptly prior to decisions that could negatively impact the cost, schedule and effort of maintenance.
Can independently navigate O365 and Azure suite of tools.
Be disciplined to manage through the agreed collaborative workspace.
Keep updated in industry developments that could impact the product.
Be active and resourceful in keeping up-to-date, finding solutions, and manage work independently.
Enable business users and collaborate with other IT personnel.
Proficient in English communicating.
