Job description

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated tests. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will lead test strategies, create test frameworks, and play a key role in mentoring junior QA engineers. Your expertise will help drive significant improvements in our QA processes, enhancing our overall product development life cycle. Ideal candidates will have a mastery of Cypress, Javascript and Typescript.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers in best practices and methodologies.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Enhance and drive QA process improvements across projects.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4-8 years of experience in QA automation or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Cypress, JMeter, and Postman.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, SQL/DB, and Jira.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Superior problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with task management in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS CI/CD processes and DevOps practices is a plus.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $50-65 hourly. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
