Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a determined Virtual Technical Support Representative who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity. The Virtual tech Rep assists customers with complex security alarm issues and helps program automated items such as thermostats, door locks, sensors, light modules, and key fobs. Also troubleshoots issues with the security system in order to resolve any issue without rolling truck. Ideal representatives have a customer first mindset and will always successfully resolve the customers issues while keeping the best interests of the company and customer in mind.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides audio and visual support to customers technical issues by identifying the problem, researching answers, and guiding the customer step-by-step through corrective measures for a one-call resolution.
  • Helps customers with the troubleshooting of cameras, battery replacements, Wi-Fi, and other security components.
  • Provides recommendations on upgrades to the customer’s current home security system.
  • Assigns technicians to visits a customer’s home if their current issue cannot be resolved over the phone.
  • Reduce truck rolls by providing customers with virtual assistance
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives

 

 

Requirements:

  • Must currently be an Alarm Service Technician or a Customer Success Senior Expert
  • Cannot be on any verbal, written or final warnings (Attendance or Performance)
  • HS diploma
