Job description

Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a strong candidate to join our Loan Servicing Team. As a trusted business partner, you will initiate/prepare loan closing documents for our advisors.  You will partner with colleagues within our finance to follow through with loan funding, underwriting, billing and other areas as needed.  The ideal candidate has a combination of strong business acumen, technical and corporate finance knowledge, high attention to detail and organization, and excellent communication skills.  The ability to work within a team, take initiative, and interact effectively with business partners and all levels of management is critical.

The Loan Servicing group plays an instrumental role in the loan financing for advisors for LPL.  Another primary responsibility is working with business partners across LPL as related to loan servicing for active and inactive loans, document preparation, funding, payoff quotes and financial reporting for billing and loan trends.  Lastly, this group is tasked with collecting delinquent loans and legal referrals.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional business partners to deliver world class service

  • Prepare and deliver loan documents and solutions for a variety of loan servicing issues

  • Track divisional headcount changes and provide insight into the resulting financial impact

  • Identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of finance-related experience

  • Closing/Funding loan experience

  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and recommendations simultaneously

Preferences:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline

  • Experience with enterprise systems, Fiserv, Salesforce, Oracle

  • Prior loan servicing, loan closing, loan funding experience

Pay Range:

$59,288-$98,813/year

 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
