Job Summary

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth recruitment, onboarding, and placement of healthcare professionals. This role blends talent acquisition with workforce coordination, requiring excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. You will manage job postings, screen candidates, facilitate onboarding, maintain compliance records, and coordinate staffing assignments to meet client needs. This role requires you to work on-call.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Management

Post job openings across various platforms to attract top talent.
Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and assess candidate suitability.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain a talent pipeline to ensure quick fulfillment of client needs.
Provide an excellent candidate experience, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups.

Onboarding & Compliance

Ensure all new hires complete onboarding paperwork and meet compliance requirements.
Verify credentials, certifications, and background checks.
Track and maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Assist candidates in navigating the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth first-day experience.

Shift Scheduling & Workforce Coordination

Manage and assign shifts for healthcare professionals based on availability and client needs.
Ensure 100% shift fulfillment, proactively filling urgent and last-minute openings.
Send shift reminders and confirmations to candidates to prevent cancellations.
Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to ensure seamless placements.

Candidate & Client Communication

Respond to candidate inquiries, shift requests, and client updates in a timely manner.
Proactively reach out to inactive candidates to keep them engaged.
Address last-minute staffing challenges by coordinating with candidates and the Recruitment Manager.

Reporting & Process Improvement

Track hiring metrics, staffing fulfillment rates, and compliance completion.
Identify inefficiencies in recruitment and staffing processes and suggest improvements.
Support workforce planning initiatives and forecasting.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Experience in staffing, scheduling, recruitment coordination, or HR support.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to handle multiple schedules and priorities.
Excellent communication skills (phone, email, text) clear, concise, and professional.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or scheduling software.
Basic knowledge of healthcare staffing regulations and credentialing (or willingness to learn).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred but Not Required

Experience in healthcare staffing or a high-volume scheduling role.
Knowledge of HR compliance and workforce laws.
Ability to analyze staffing trends and suggest process improvements.
