In this role, you will focus on developing and delivering CI/CD integrated smoke test framework for our CloudGaming platform using TypeScript & Playwright as the primary stack with Open CV for optional advanced image checks. Automate deployment, asset loading, UI/audio/input validation and publish business readable reports via Slack. Working closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams, you will design and execute automated test scripts that validate game features and user experiences across multiple platforms.

If you are passionate about gaming, have a strong background in test automation, and are committed to delivering exceptional player experiences through high-quality releases, we would love to have you on our journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pipeline Integration: Build a Playwright/TypeScript smoke-test suite covering deployment success, asset presence, and startup errors
  • UI & Input Verification: Capture and analyze screenshots, simulate mouse/keyboard events; leverage OpenCV for secondary checks (delay detection, visual state)
  • Audio Checks: Automate verification of sound presence or silence during smoke flows
  • Reporting & Alerts: Post Slack messages summarizing game title, pass/fail streams with error codes, screenshots, and input/audio status
  • Handoff & Collaboration: Document runbooks; trigger manual follow-up on failures; coordinate with Cloud Support for remediation

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years as an SDET or Automation Engineer
  • Expert in TypeScript and Playwright for end-to-end testing
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
