Lead end-to-end project management of Revenue Cycle initiatives (Patient Access, Billing, Collections, Cash Posting, Denials Management, etc.)
Coordinate stakeholders across operational, financial, and IT teams to ensure project goals are met.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
Identify opportunities to optimize revenue cycle processes and recommend strategic improvements.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and gap assessments.
Provide status updates, executive summaries, and post-project evaluation reports to leadership.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of direct experience in Revenue Cycle Management (required).
Prior experience as a Project Manager leading revenue cycle projects in hospitals, health systems, or medical groups.
Strong understanding of front-end and back-end RCM functions.
PMP certification preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication, organization, and client-facing skills.
Ability to work independently in a consulting environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EHR systems.
