Position Title

Recruitment Specialist, Localization Freelance Talent Acquisition

Position Summary
An energetic and committed recruiter with fluency in Indonesian language and English language skills with connections to the region and translation communities, to conduct talent search campaigns for freelancers. As the first point of contact for freelancers, the recruiting team acts as a brand ambassador of Deluxe Localization, shepherding them through the engagement and on-boarding process. This role is responsible for building a strong pool of freelancers who we can call on to localize content for our APAC market. The successful candidate needs to understand the localization industry and lead talent search campaigns for freelance translators, subtitles and post editors.

A work permit for the residency region is required and candidates must be in Indonesia.


Job Description
As the first point of contact for freelancers, the recruiter acts as a brand ambassador of Deluxe Localization, shepherding them through the engagement and on-boarding process.
Your primary focus will be to identify suitable localization freelancers for our Global and APAC projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive freelancer recruiting

  • Build networks to find qualified candidates

  • Post positions to appropriate Internet sources and research new recruitment sources

  • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates

  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees

  • Create and manage freelancer job descriptions

  • Develop working relationships within university programs to aid in recruiting talents

  • Track contact with freelance talents

  • Review and report metrics related to recruiting and hiring

  • Providing daily reporting to the lead/managers, as needed

  • Assist in other administrative and data entry duties as assigned

  • Communicate with candidates, embodying the Deluxe core values in every conversation

  • Assist with troubleshooting and researching freelancer talent queries


Skills and Proficiency

  • Outstanding English and Indonesian language skills (native/full professional proficiency/professional working proficiency)

  • Strong understanding of East Asian and Southeast Asian cultures and languages

  • Experience in Localisation industry working with freelance talents

  • Experience in working with multinational and multicultural teams, and cultures that extend beyond the corporate footprint

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, reacting quickly to escalations and able to handle high-volume communications from multiple sources

  • Curious and interested in research

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities or changes in workflow

  • Exceptional time management is necessary to tackle a high volume of communication exchanges that make an impact via multiple platforms and on multiple time zones

  • As your role will be with a global team, we are looking for someone who is resourceful with an ability to work independently

  • Skilled problem-solver who thinks critically and creatively

  • The ability to manage and work on high target oriented fast passed and sometimes complex projects

  • Demonstrate collaborative spirit and be a professional team player

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
