Manager, Business Management Support – Project Management

USA Job Function Description:

The Manager, Business Management Support, leads and provides direction and guidance to the Central Banking Operations team for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to support the on time, on budget delivery of projects. The Manager will support the end to end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management and other project documentation preparation, for the operations team, for funded and BAU projects. S/he facilitates and/or partners with incident management as needed within the business to swiftly resolve issues mitigating risk exposure along with managing remediation post issue resolution.   Manager for a small team of project managers supporting back office Operations. 
 



Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Develops close working partnerships with the IT Project Management Office and Central Banking Operations subject matter experts.
  • Manage day to day responsibilities of small project management team.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Supports the update and delivery of project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and budget. Provides guidance to the PMO on business impacts and requirements.
  • Key point of contact with PMO, supporting Central Banking Operations
  • Manages process and project management deliverables for all assigned projects from initiation through closure, including intake activities.
  • Develops presentations, dashboards, reports and other project communications and documentation.
  • Provide support to business leads by organizing meeting invites, agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Participates in project team meetings, representing the business stakeholders regularly to ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders.
  • Monitors and supports the documentation of project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Documents and communicates project changes, project health and project status to business stakeholders.

Strategic Planning and Alignment:

  • Support project lead and senior leadership in developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • Leads and contributes to the development of project definition and scope with applicable stakeholders.
  • Leads the development of annual project book of work, developing cost/benefit analysis and document detail necessary to prioritize work.

Incident Management:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining issue management best practices.
  • Provide business management of events and incidents to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversees accurate incident ticket entry and closure.
  • Facilitates and supports issue reporting and remediation post resolution, through to full completion of any necessary change.
  • Develop and maintain monthly reporting on issues and business impact

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business or equivalent field. (Req)
  • Project Management Experience


Work Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a small team 2+ years
  • Demonstrated experience in banking, back office operations. 9+ years
  • 7+ years’ experience managing multiple projects with cross-enterprise interdependencies with a combination of business and technical basic knowledge.
  • 7+ years’ experience building project planning documents and engaging the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives; influencing without authority

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$73,125.00 USD

Maximum:

$130,000.00 USD
