The Senior Commercial Product Manager is senior Product champion who will scope, develop and deliver a market-leading hotel product portfolio for designated source market, in accordance with commercial objectives and targets.

What will your journey with us look like?

  • Create and deliver product strategies which increase revenue, market share, margins and average selling price whilst ensuring our customers have an outstanding customer experience.
  • Responsible for leading the Product strategy from an E2E perspective, engaging with stakeholders across the group to ensure there is a company wide alignment and the strategy remains on track to deliver the agreed KPIs.
  • Lead a team of Product experts, giving clear direction on strategy, actions which will accelerate the performance of the business and areas of opportunity across the destination set.
  • Lead the Product team to be truly customer centric, monitoring customer feedback, hotel quality data and taking the appropriate actions to improve customer experience across the hotel and destination set.
  • Ensure all policy and legal requirements are adhered to by operating within a framework of compliance, which protects customers, teams, and minimises risk to the business. Ensure all products selected meet agreed company standards of quality, health, and safety.
  • Responsible for reviewing and annually setting the portfolio of hotels which are a strategic focus to the business and ensuring that the Product team are securing commercial benefits which support the profitability of the group.
  • Lead product innovation and continuous improvement, utilising destination insight and the data available from the suppliers and market intelligence. Ensure that products are fully researched, costed, developed, and implemented in an agreed timescale and in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Attend regular trading, commercial and supplier meetings to drive the commercial agenda and business objectives.
  • Deputise for the Head of Commercial Product in senior management and trading meetings.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must have extensive knowledge of the UK market and dynamic packaging.
  • Holds strong product management experience and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets and operating in a commercial role.
  • Experienced leader, with vast experience of leading and managing teams virtually across various locations. Strong supplier relationship and account management experience, especially with global bed banks and accommodation providers.
  • The use of innovative / creative thinking and problem solving to succeed in this every changing industry.
  • Proven track record in delivering objectives and managing large product portfolios.
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy. Knowledge and experience of managing large amounts of data.
  • Technical / professional qualifications: Experience of Google suite applications and Tableau.
