Role Description
 
The Vice President of Broadband Profesional Services and Program Management Office provides strategic and operational leadership across Harmonic’s broadband service offerings. This role drives service-based sales strategy, customer delivery, and technical support excellence while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations across global markets
You will report to the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience.
 
What you will be doing:
 
  • Drive Service-Based Sales: Develop and execute strategic sales to promote and implement services supporting Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) and Fiber product deployments.
  • Achieve Financial Targets: Generate accurate sales forecasts and manage service-based project budgets to meet revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA objectives.
  • Market Intelligence & Segmentation: Conduct comprehensive market surveys and build a dynamic intelligence tool to segment MSO, Telco, and Overbuilder markets. Analyze access architecture status, technology deployments, and operational capabilities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain strong customer and partner relationships, ensuring service delivery aligns with access architecture deployment needs.
  • Contract & Pricing Development: Create clear and effective contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and develop competitive service unit pricing for access architecture deployments.
  • Subcontractor Management: Secure and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure labor capacity and availability for future projects across diverse geographical regions.
  • Program Leadership & Customer Satisfaction: Provide program management oversight for service-based solutions, collaborating with field service teams to proactively address needs, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) (deployment objectives, downtime, cost), and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Drive Service-Based Sales: Lead the strategic development and execution of service-based sales supporting Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) and Fiber deployments.
 
 
 
What you should have:
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in Field Service or Technical Support within the Broadcast, Cable TV, or Telco industries.
  • Ensure all service offerings and activities embody Harmonic’s core values: creativity, innovation, integrity, respect, quality, and success
  • Proven track record in managing geographically distributed teams and customer support functions.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen with direct responsibility over service operations budgets.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and executive communication skills.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in international environments with global service delivery.
  • Ability to travel frequently as required.
 
Pay & Benefits
 
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $230,000 - $240,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, location, and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
