We're also a leading partner to Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Oracle, NYSE, and many other leading technology companies. Megaport is a publicly traded company on the Australian Stock Exchange. We’re a lean, high-achieving team made up of over 300 members globally. While the company is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, employees are spread out across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Staff enjoy an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and fun.

Our Team Culture
Join a team of globally-positioned industry experts that lead by example. We do not compromise our values for commercial gain; we are all custodians of our culture, and the customer is at the centre of everything we do. Our employees are motivated, adaptable, persistent, hard-working, and dynamic. Our culture permeates everything we do and this, in turn with a global vision, forms a commitment to each other, our customers, and shareholders alike.

The Role
We’re seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist who is passionate about technology and deeply knowledgeable about the modern B2B MarTech stack. In this role, you will take full ownership of executing and optimizing our marketing automation processes to drive lead generation, enhance customer engagement, and support data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, you will work fully remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams located around the globe. You must be comfortable working independently as well as flexibly across time zones.

About You
You are a technically skilled marketer who loves tackling complex challenges and streamlining processes through innovative automation and GenAI technologies. You’re not afraid to dive into the intricacies of the MarTech stack—from CDPs and Salesforce to Google Analytics and SQL—to ensure every campaign runs efficiently with precise data attribution. You take ownership of your work, excel in a remote setting, and have a proven track record of delivering impactful, data-driven results. If you’re eager to make a direct impact on marketing success while working with a global team, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • MarTech Stack + Campaign Execution:
  • Build, manage, and optimize marketing automation workflows in Marketo (or similar platforms) for email nurtures, drip campaigns, landing pages, and lead scoring.
  • Implement best practices for campaign execution, lead generation, and digital customer engagement.
  • Support growth marketing initiatives by setting up experiments and ensuring clean, accurate attribution.
  • Manage and troubleshoot data flows between platforms, ensuring accurate conversion tracking and attribution.
  • Collaborate with web developers to execute and track marketing experiments.
  • Data & Analytics Focus:

  • Support the Data Engineer by running SQL queries to extract and analyze marketing data.
  • Ensure full visibility into performance metrics, allowing for better forecasting and strategic adjustments.
  • Process Improvement & Automation with GenAI:
  • Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions—streamlining marketing processes through automation and GenAI technologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Assist the Head of Marketing Operations with monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Work closely with global team members to share best practices and troubleshoot marketing tools, acting as an evangelist for digital technology across the business.

  • Experience working with APIs and webhooks, either directly or via middleware tools such as Zapier, Make, or N8N. Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Zapier.
  • Ability to run SQL queries to extract and analyze marketing data.
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS for both email marketing and landing page customization.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution, campaign tracking, and reporting methodologies.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring high data integrity and actionable insights.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
