What you will do:

  • Develop, perform, and support manual and automated integration and regression testing.
  • Develop, perform, and support component testing
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for automation of test suites.
  • Work side by side with project teams on a daily basis to consult with the development teams to test applications.
  • Write test cases and scenarios.
  • Develop automated scripts to decrease the time needed to perform testing.
  • Develop automated scripts to decrease the likelihood of bugs or unplanned outages.
  • Work with applications deployed in cloud environments.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires Technical Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced Technical degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience Programming or scripting skills such as C#/Java/Python/Javascript
  • Experience in SQL Database
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in using a test automation framework like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Experience in developing and managing test plans and cases
  • Experience in regression, integration, API, or functional testing
  • Familiarity in SAP, Snowflake or similar technology
  • Familiarity in Azure DevOps or JIRA
  • Familiarity in Agile, Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Familiarity in Azure/AWS cloud environment
  • Experience in strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in strong leadership ability and experience managing priorities.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
