Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses as part of the monthly close process
Own and maintain accuracy of assigned general ledger accounts, including but not limited to payroll, employee benefits, accruals, and prepaid expenses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, AP and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting
Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to requests
Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations
Participate in ad hoc projects and support the implementation of new tools, policies, or procedures as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience with major accounting software, preferably with NetSuite.
Strong understanding of US accounting guidance, and SOX-compliant internal controls.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA, Big 4, or public company experience preferred
Prior healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
