Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses as part of the monthly close process

• Own and maintain accuracy of assigned general ledger accounts, including but not limited to payroll, employee benefits, accruals, and prepaid expenses

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, AP and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting

• Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to requests

• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations

• Participate in ad hoc projects and support the implementation of new tools, policies, or procedures as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.

• Experience with major accounting software, preferably with NetSuite.

• Strong understanding of US accounting guidance, and SOX-compliant internal controls.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, Big 4, or public company experience preferred

• Prior healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
