Responsibilities of the Lead Generation Specialist:

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation:
    • Research and compile 550 new leads weekly (approx. 2,200 per month) from U.S.-based consumer brands, with a focus on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and related verticals.
    • Ensure leads meet quality standards with high conversion potential and align with defined parameters.
      • Avoid non-shelf-stable products (e.g., ice cream, chocolate) and businesses without proprietary products (e.g., sit-down restaurants).

  • Company List Building:
    • Use platforms like ZoomInfo to identify target companies and gather accurate contact information, particularly for top-level decision-makers.
    • Segment leads by industry, including:
      • Consumer Packaged Goods
      • Food & Beverage
      • Beauty
      • Health & Wellness
      • Sports & Nutrition
      • Sports & Outdoors
      • General Merchandise
      • Research & Sourcing
    • Explore and extract leads from various platforms, including:
      • Trade shows
      • Blogs
      • Amazon
      • Helium 10
      • Apollo
      • TikTok
      • Other relevant online channels
    • Identify promising brands and collect key executive contact information.

  • Data Entry & Management:
    • Enter lead data into Excel and maintain accuracy across all fields.
    • Upload lead lists into Emailable to verify contact information.
    • Remove unverified addresses and add new leads as needed to meet weekly and monthly quotas.
    • Daily Workflow Example:
      • Research target companies
      • Pull contact data via ZoomInfo and other platforms
      • Input and organize data in Excel
      • Upload to Emailable for verification
      • Finalize the list and confirm with the Operations Manager before exporting

  • Performance Reporting:
    • Present completed lead lists to the Operations Manager for review and alignment.
    • Be proactive and responsive to feedback, with quick turnarounds on necessary adjustments.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Generate 2,200 qualified leads monthly
    • Maintain an email open rate of 50–70%+ (approx. 1,100–1,540 opens)
    • Achieve a response rate of >5%, with a goal of 10–15% of opens
    • Target 5–10% conversion to meetings from opened emails, aiming for 55–60 meetings/month

  • Advanced Responsibilities:
    • Trade Show Research:
      • Identify and research industry-relevant trade shows across verticals for lead sourcing opportunities.
