The Ecommerce Graphic Designer is responsible for the visual design of website assets and digital marketing assets including emails, web banners, landing page graphics, social media content, infographics, and short slide show videos. They will work closely with internal teams to help create digital-friendly graphics to be integrated into the overall ecommerce website, marketing strategy and work on implementing visual design updates with web best practices in mind. This role requires a high level of comfort with heavy production work and the ability to balance creating on-brand assets for 5+ brands.

As a member of the Cardio Partners ecommerce team, this individual will contribute to design of website changes, website tests, and marketing communication emails and materials seen by our ecommerce customers each day. Through design of marketing materials, customers will come to understand our products and services, and evaluate the professionalism, approachability, and trustworthiness of our business.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize innovative website pages and assets including landing pages, email graphics, banners, videos and social posts
  • Work closely with the ecommerce team, including marketing, technology, data analysts, to create supporting email layouts, graphics, and variations to enhance customer experience
  • Evaluate data to determine effectiveness of visual assets, proposing updates to contribute to better message reception, understanding, and conversion
  • Analyze, refine, and push existing designs to increase KPIs and align with digital strategy
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s ecommerce brand strategy
  • Design visual web assets with focus on improving user journey to increase conversion and retention.
  • Translate wireframes and design guidance from user interface specialist into effective and optimized on-brand graphics, with responsive design and ADA compliance design principles in mind

Skills/Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design or related field required
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing or graphic design role, with strong preference for experience in an ecommerce business
  • Proven success in a fast paced, high production environment
  • High Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience designing within an email marketing system (Klaviyo or similar)
  • Experience with AI driven design tools (Adobe Firefly, MidJourney, etc)
  • HTML and CSS knowledge a plus
  • Ability to effectively complete heavy production work in a fast-paced environment, sharing thought leadership on brand and visual direction
  • Solid understanding of UI principles and how design decisions impact e-commerce conversions.
  • Strong grasp of current design trends, e-commerce principles, and proficiency in email marketing design
  • Experience designing and measuring effectiveness of graphics for websites, social media, email and digital ads
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet multiple, stringent deadlines
  • Familiarity with designing for ADA compliance
