Position Summary

The Director of Brand Marketing will shape our global strategy across multiple branded touchpoints and collaborate in the execution of that global strategy regionally. This role manages Westman Atelier brand expression across multiple channels - including influencer, partnerships, PR, and IRL activations. This role will curate campaigns and activations ladder up to global marketing KPI’s as well as meet our brand standards and increase impressions and EMV. Equally left brain and right brain, this role should drive creative campaigns and content ideas that win hearts and dollars. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategy and team execution across multiple channels -  influencer, PR and comms, activations, IRL, partnerships, and gifting
  • Manage all comms  and Influencer Marketing across new launches and core product activations
  • In partnership with CMO and broader team, create annual brand marketing plan for NPD and evergreen that tie to measurable goals and ladder to broader brand initiatives
  • Manages global brand marketing budget, owning budget reviews and and reforecast
  • Develop media relations strategy with 2 agencies that tie to yearly and quarterly brand,  business, and regionally goals
  • Key point of contact for Sales and Education for all brand marketing opportunities at retailer level 
  • Drive all IRL brand expressions managing project and budget end to end and working collaboratively with key partners like VM & Design, Digital, etc
  • Develop influencer, event and media strategy that drives our core product business revenue
  • Drive mailer strategy, concepts, and execution in partnership with agency
  • Contributes to board, weekly, quarterly and monthly business reviews with key insights, actionable next steps, and goal tracking
  • Assess and negotiate contracts for reporting tools to measure key KPI’s
  • Negotiate influencer contracts and manage content distribution across paid and organic media
  • Maintain brand partnership relationships to leverage for brand marketing
  • Drive gifting strategy to meet annual EMV goals
  • Manage EMEA annual visit(s) end to end meeting the sales team and brand marketing goals working closely with the founder
  • Mentorship and management of a team

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience Influencer experience a must
  • Out of the box, creative thinker
  • Experience across IG and TikTok a must
  • PR and Influencer experience a must
  • Agile, highly organized individual with a high taste level 
  • Beauty experience 
  • Startup experience a plus
  • Experience with Tribe or other EMV measurement tools 
Westman Atelier offers a holistic total compensation package designed to support employees in all aspects of life, including a robust suite of health benefits, wellness perks, 401k, and paid parental leave. The base salary for this position will range from $135,000 - $150,000. Exact compensation may vary based on job related skills, experience, and location.
