The team is seeking a Social Media Strategist who can take charge of the brand’s cross-platform content strategy, grow its community, and support the marketing integration of key campaigns. This role blends content creativity with light digital marketing coordination—ideal for someone who understands how to tell stories, engage audiences, and drive attention to the brand’s adventures.
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
• Curate content (images, videos, captions, graphics, etc.) that is aligned with the brand's tone
• Develop and manage the brand’s social media strategy across Instagram, YouTube, Patreon, and the Sea People app.
• Repurpose content from the video archive and new productions into platform-native assets.
• Own the social content calendar; schedule and publish content aligned with the brand’s documentary-style, educational tone.
• Monitor trends and engagement signals to grow and nurture the audience.
Campaign Integration, Email & Community Support:
• Collaborate with the producer and agency team to integrate campaigns, brand partnerships, and sponsorships into the social media content plan.
• Translate campaign goals into coordinated content across Instagram, YouTube, Patreon, Sea People, and other platforms.
• Track campaign performance across social platforms and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate email blasts to support:
- Episode launches
- Merchandise releases
- Newsletter and app community updates
• Help optimize email opt-in flows via social channels and Sea People to grow the mailing list.
• Build and maintain interaction with the community across platforms.
• Support and engage with the Patreon community, ensuring timely content delivery, updates, and occasional Q&As or behind-the-scenes interactions.
