Summary  

The NTT Global Networks Service Offerings Director will be responsible for the Managed Network Services portfolio, and will oversee client pursuit efforts including strategy, services mix, commercial offering, deal P&L and contract negotiation aspects. He / she will become a trusted advisor and collaborate closely with clients, executives, partnering with NTT sales and internal teams to understand requirements, formulate adequate solutions and develop winning strategies. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Drive network transformation opportunities, specifically solution positioning, commercial deal structure and compelling value propositions to client C-level executives
  • Lead managed network service opportunities in assigned region, directly as well as via NTT affiliates and channel partners. Own deal P&L (internally) and commercial structure (to the client and/or partner/NTT affiliate)  
  • Identify special requirements and potential risks and challenges associated with each deal.
  • Develop effective risk mitigation strategies and obtain buy-in from stakeholders across the organization
  • Develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) ensuring alignment with the proposal, agreed-upon solutions and commercial offering 
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, including MSA, SOW, SLAs, commercial terms and pricing working jointly with business, operational and legal leadership 
  • Keep a pulse on client IT and business requirements, industry trends, emerging technologies and evolving vendor ecosystem, and spearhead new service/feature development initiatives to maintain a competitive edge 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s service portfolio and key differentiators 
  • Project manage key offerings initiatives by working with cross-functional teams 
  • Build business cases on strategic deals, present and get approval from the executive team 
  • Create and refresh product marketing documentation such as service descriptions, fact sheets, and client facing presentations 
  • Host webinars, create content (white papers, blogs etc.) to present case studies and articulate NTT’s value proposition in the global managed network service space 

Skills and Experience  
  • 8+ years proven track record in Network Tower transformation deal management, pricing strategies, profitability and margin analysis, business case and Statement of work (SOW) development, and complex contract negotiations with clients including C-Suite 
  • In depth understanding of SASE/SSE, SD-WAN, Managed Network Services, Cloud and On-
  • Premise Security, LAN/WLAN, Private LTE/5G 
  • Strategic mindset, ability to link corporate goals to competitive pricing models and client solutions 
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead initiatives with other teams such as sales, engineering, operations, and 3rd party partners and vendors 
  • Hands-on, lead-from-the-front style as well as passion for success and for the network business 
  • Strong understanding of product development and management life cycles 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications/presentation skills 
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to qualify opportunities and build consensus with the team 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards 

Additional Requirements  
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent. MBA and degrees encompassing both technical and business disciplines preferred 
  • Experience working with and presenting to an executive audience 
  • Experience working with global teams that provide 24/7 support to clients
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time 
  • Willingness to conduct and attend meetings and field communication outside of normal working hours to accommodate teams based internationally, as needed
