We have worked on some of the biggest and most exciting IP’s in the games industry, including Diablo Resurrected, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Halo Infinite, Returnal, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Borderlands 3, FIFA Online 4, PUBG: New State, Sea of Thieves, Amazon: New World, Dauntless, State of Decay 2, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, just to name a few.
Our successful studio is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Level Designer (UK time zone preferred but not required) to join the team.

This is a fully remote 6-month freelance contract starting in June 2025, with the possibility of extension for another 6–12 months.
This position is offered on a fully remote basis, but the successful candidate must be able to work within UK timezone hours.

What we are looking for:

Significant experience designing levels for single-player games using Unreal Engine 4 or 5
A strong track record in creating engaging FPS or action-based gameplay spaces
Ability to own large features or map areas, including roadmap planning and scope estimation
Skilled at developing benchmark examples and clear metrics to guide other departments
Deep understanding of level pacing, encounter design, and storytelling through gameplay
Ability to collaborate with art and technical teams to ensure level content meets gameplay and visual goals
Strong communication and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders
Experience mentoring or guiding junior level designers
Familiarity with tools like Jira to write user stories and define clear acceptance criteria
Understanding of reusable modular design and hub-style world structures is a plus
Previous experience on survival or stealth-focused games is a bonus
