Job description

 

The Role:

This role will manage day-to-day programs for social media and corporate communications, and support public and media relations efforts.

 

Preference for candidates located in Pacific Time Zone: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee the corporate social media programs and strategy. Bring new testing strategies and ideas to continue to enhance the program. Manage social calendar and executive social support.
  • Drive the Impact social media advocacy and amplification programs through trainings and audits. Build and launch new employee ambassador program in collaboration with internal communication partners and oversee engagement and adoption to amplify social efforts. Deliver expert social audits and coaching.
  • Support corporate communication projects and client communication initiatives as needed.
  • Support and drive external communication strategies to generate market awareness for ENGIE Impact in key regions.
  • Work directly with external PR agency to deliver public relations program and quarterly media hits goal. Partner to develop communication pitches, support interviews and develop contributed content.
  • Manage scheduling and interview briefing materials for all media interviews and expert briefings. Support Communications leadership in media trainings and interview coaching.
  • Project manage press releases through the approval structure, program via Business Wire distribution and on engieimpact.com.
  • Develop and deliver process for maximizing Impact thought leadership content through spin-off PR content, press engagement opportunities and social media.
  • Manage PR agencies project and prioritization to ensure retainer is maximized and resourcing is focused on top company priorities.
  • Support and project manage key corporate abstract submissions and executive speaking engagements.
  • Manage the development and distribution of the daily coverage monitoring report and rapid response program. Maintain distribution list and enhancements for company visibility.
  • Support monthly, and quarterly reporting and planning.

Education and Experience: 

 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred in one of the following fields; marketing, business, communications, journalism or PR preferred.
    • 4+ years relevant experience with social media marketing, PR and media relations for a corporate organization or agency required.
    • Experience developing communications plans, written press releases, managed social media programs and project-managed corporate marketing initiatives through completion.
    • Experience in Energy/Technology/B2B environments preferred.
    • Experience working with senior leaders on developing and executing external communication strategies.
    • Experience directly managing corporate social media programs
    • Experienced with CRM tools; Marketing Automation Software a plus.
    • May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational and other skills and abilities in lieu of educational requirements

    • Ability to prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines.
    • Ability to build effective presentations.
    • Ability to execute communication and marketing campaigns and support measurement of impact.
    • Exceptional writing skills across several mediums including: social, press releases, news articles, email communication
    • Ability to analyze data and is comfortable with making data-driven decisions.

Work Environment:

  • Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week

The pay range for this role is $63,000-$92,000. 

 

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
