Inside Sales Representative

Location: Remote, USA (Remote position but candidate must be physically located in the USA)

GridGain is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This role is responsible for closing sales, maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities, and developing new business through research and outreach. Utilizing the MEDDIC sales process, the representative will identify customer needs, deliver compelling sales presentations, and ensure accurate CRM data management in Salesforce.

 

Required Job Duties:

  • Engage with inbound leads and new business units within existing customers to qualify and create new sales opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements via qualifying using MEDDIC sales process (Metrics, Economic buyer, Decision criteria, Decision process, Identify pain, and Champion)
  • Assess customer needs, timelines, and processes to recommend the most suitable solutions from our portfolio, guiding opportunities toward initial sales.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Maintain and nurture a forecast of qualified opportunities
  • Develop additional sales pipeline by researching and reaching out to new accounts
  • Manage, track, and report all activities using Salesforce
  • Perform effective online sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Help maintain the integrity of CRM data through regular research and contacting customers/prospects for updated information
  • Represent GridGain at industry tradeshows periodically, as needed
  • Be available during business hours to meet deadlines and client needs, coordinate with co-workers, attend conference calls and/or face-to-face meetings, and handle day-to-day operations necessary for the position

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • BS Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in technology related sales 
  • Experience working with open-source software a must
  • Proven Inside Sales experience, track record of over-achieving quota
  • Highly self-motivated, goal oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software and MS Office Suite
