2.5 years of experience, Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial software (e.g., advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, v-lookups). Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage. Familiarity with financial statement audits and supporting auditors. Proven experience in general accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations, payroll processing, and journal entry posting. Familiarity with expense management systems like Concur or similar tools. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve discrepancies. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Core responsibilities:

Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations, ensure accounts are accurate, and resolve discrepancies. Journal Entry Posting: Post journal entries to the general ledger and ensure accuracy and compliance. Payroll: Utilise payroll data provided by HR to accurately allocate costs across relevant accounts or departments and prepare corresponding journal entries for posting. Prepayments & Accruals: Manage prepayments and accruals, ensuring expenses and revenue are recorded correctly. Concur Expense Management: Oversee employee expense submissions in Concur and ensure compliance with policies. Audit Support: Assist with the financial statement audit by preparing necessary documentation. Ad-hoc Financial Tasks: Handle additional financial tasks, including responding to management requests and providing financial reports.
