Job description

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Coupa Functional Lead to drive the design, configuration, and deployment of Coupa solutions across procurement and finance operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of source-to-pay (S2P) processes and a passion for delivering value through digital transformation.

As a subject matter expert, youll work closely with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to ensure Coupa is optimally configured to meet business requirements, improve process efficiency, and enable compliance and transparency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary functional lead and Coupa expert across implementation and enhancement projects
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into Coupa configuration and workflow design
  • Lead configuration of Coupa modules (Procure-to-Pay, Invoicing, Expenses, Sourcing, Contracts, etc.) based on business needs
  • Manage and support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training
  • Provide post-implementation support and ongoing optimization of the Coupa platform
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing best practices on procurement transformation, policy, and Coupa capabilities
  • Monitor and assess Coupa releases and enhancements, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field 7+ years of experience in procurement or finance transformation, with at least 3 years of hands-on Coupa implementation or administration experience
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, supplier management, contract lifecycle, and invoicing
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and facilitate workshops with stakeholders
  • Coupa Certification(s) highly preferred

  • Experience integrating Coupa with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations
  • Consulting background is a plus
