Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to shape and lead the HR function for a forward-thinking trade services group. As the dedicated HR and Health & Safety Specialist, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build and implement comprehensive HR processes from the ground up, while ensuring workplace safety compliance across multiple business units. You’ll work closely with a supportive administrative team and have direct impact on the organization’s growth and success. This role offers the perfect blend of strategic HR management and hands-on operational support, with the flexibility to contribute to various administrative functions as needed.


Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive HR processes and systems
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including employee relations and performance management
  • Create and maintain professional HR documentation and communication protocols
  • Oversee workplace Health & Safety compliance and provide expert guidance
  • Monitor and address staff conduct and performance matters
  • Develop and maintain HR policies aligned with UK employment regulations
  • Collaborate with the administrative team on process improvements
  • Support various administrative functions as needed
  • Contribute to the company’s growth by maintaining efficient HR operations
  • Utilize modern HR and business management software system

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Knowledge of workplace Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent documentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn CRM and job management software
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven capability in creating professional HR documentation
  • Strong research skills for staying current with UK HR regulations
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration
  • Comfortable with remote work environment and digital communication tools
  • Professional approach to handling confidential information
  • Adaptable mindset and willingness to support various administrative tasks
