About the Role

The Senior Manager, Professional Services Programs is responsible for the design, rollout, governance, and reporting of the major systems and programs that support the operations of the global Professional Services organization. This individual will manage a small team to drive efficiencies and simplicity into the organization through improved designs in critical systems like Clarizen, OpenAir, and Salesforce, as well as designing reporting/dashboarding platforms and monthly business reviews to enable role-level visibility to key performance metrics.

A typical day will include...

Systems and Tools

  • Designing, implementing, and deploying systems that enable Services employees to efficiently execute their jobs with minimum overhead.

  • Owning a systems improvement roadmap to regularly inspect and prioritize process/systems changes that improve team efficiency and enhance performance monitoring

  • Working with Finance and Sales to ensure clean integrations in the end-to-end work management process, from correct setup of Services opportunities in Salesforce, to accurate revenue recognition and invoicing.

  • Managing a team to ensure the availability of PS systems

Business Performance Reporting 

  • Developing KPI definitions and reporting metrics that enable functional leaders to quickly assess the state of the business and identify needed corrections.

  • Developing reports and dashboards that give all roles in the organization access to timely information about their current progress towards KPIs.

  • Helping the functional department leaders set and maintain visibility to performance goals.

  • Working with functional leaders to proactively identify gaps in visibility and implement changes to enable leaders to understand problems and needed actions.

  • Providing project visibility and insight across the entire portfolio

This role is a fit for you if…

  • You have 5+ years of operations experience in professional services environments

  • You have a track record of identifying and running system improvement initiatives that lead to better performance and efficiency.

  • You have a strong data orientation with experience in data reporting tools and technologies and ability to use data to describe underlying business problems and needed corrections.

  • You have the ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. 

  • You can persuade and hold people accountable to agreed outcomes and deadlines in an environment with limited direct authority.

  • You have experience leading teams, maintaining employee engagement, and career coaching. 

  • Education: BS in a technical/science field and Masters degree in business or MBA.
