The ideal candidate will have experience with geopolitical intelligence and a background in Counterintelligence.

Conduct in-depth, proactive analysis of open-source intelligence (OSINT) to identify and assess threats and emerging risks, including geopolitical developments, violent extremism, and civil unrest, with direct implications for Salesforce personnel, operations, and broader business interests.

This position will require the candidate to work East Coast Hours.

  • Produce timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence reports and due diligence assessments that inform decision-making across security, policy, and public affairs functions.
  • Provide investigative support to cross-functional teams addressing counterintelligence, insider threats, and broader threat management initiatives.
  • Enhance the effectiveness of internal research, monitoring, and enforcement capabilities, including the application of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
  • Deliver concise, executive-level briefings on key global developments, trends, and security-related content.
  • Supply real-time situational updates to senior leadership during crises and critical incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather intelligence requirements and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key external partners across the private sector, government, academia, and international networks to support global risk monitoring and response, particularly in non-U.S. markets.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of demonstrated expertise in intelligence analysis, including a strong grasp of analytic tradecraft and experience producing content for government or private sector audiences.
  • Deep understanding of international affairs, global systems, and the geopolitical landscape, particularly as it relates to security and macroeconomic stability.
  • Practical experience in investigative or counterintelligence disciplines; familiarity with nation-state threats, espionage, or technology-transfer investigations is preferred.
  • Complementary skills in areas such as communications, brand strategy, data visualization, graphic design, or multimedia production are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment under ambiguity, and manage projects with evolving requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with comfort working across distributed teams and virtual environments.
  • Flexible and proactive work ethic, with a commitment to setting clear expectations, managing timelines effectively, and contributing to broader team objectives when needed.

The base salary range for this position is $80000-90000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
