THE ROLE 
As a Senior Channel Marketing Manager, you will set the bar for co-marketing programs that maximize the impact of Certinia’s partner relationships, Salesforce relationships and deliver mutual value across channels. You will work with the broader Certinia marketing organization to create and execute strategic programs leveraging global best practices and content for marketing with Salesforce as well as our Referral Partners to meet company growth objectives. This globally-focused role will work with key executives and stakeholders within Marketing, Partner & Alliances Sales and across the Certinia Partner ecosystem of industry-leading technology companies. You will mentor and coach teammates to plan, develop, and execute Partner Marketing programs.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE 
 
  • Collaborate with leadership to define Certinia’s Salesforce & Strategic Alliance marketing strategy and plans to deliver high-impact programs that generate increased awareness and pipeline.
  • Manage partner marketing programs focused on driving awareness, demand generation, enablement, and engagement.  Build a scalable, strategic partner demand generation engine
  • Collaborate with Certinia’s campaign and digital teams to create strategic narratives and integrated marketing programs including campaigns, events, and digital activities, with Salesforce and strategic partners to produce leads and referrals for Certinia for both regional and global campaigns
  • Extend and amplify Certinia positioning and messaging through Salesforce co-marketing and strategic partner marketing channels  
  • Drive strategic set of marketing initiatives and innovative programs delivered through, to and with Salesforce and key partners
  • Design a best-in-class approach and programs to extend marketing contribution to pipeline through a dynamic value add partner marketing motion
  • Execute strategic partner marketing programs with keen attention to detail, commitment to tracking results and process for continuous improvement
  • Develop a process to review campaign success, in partnership with Marketing Operations, in order to deliver reliable accurate reporting back to the field teams 
  • Partner with GTM Ops to provide and present success metrics, dashboards and regular reports for sharing throughout Certinia
  • Set the global standard for collaborating with cross-functional partners in marketing, sales, Salesforce Alliances, Salesforce Marketing, and ecosystem partners 
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE : 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 8+ years experience in marketing and/or communications, with hands-on experience in partner marketing management
  • A track record of success building strategic relationships with partners and navigating multi-partner partnerships
  • Experience in developing, executing, tracking and measuring integrated marketing programs that include partner co-marketing
  • Demonstrated experience of the importance of data driven decision making and setting of priorities based on the marketing pipeline a given activity will generate
  • An innovation mindset along with a deep understanding of the possibilities and potential for co-marketing across digital marketing, influencer, experiential marketing, PR and owned channels
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams on complex projects with significant stakeholder alignment from ideation to execution
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, and verbal and written communication skills. Strong orientation on effectiveness and long-term growth
  • The mentality of a builder and a learner — figuring out how to achieve results and establish best practices
  • Ability to operate both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity, bringing creativity and inventive problem solving to your work
  • Ability to achieve and exceed business plan metrics while developing new relationships and programs
  • Experience simplifying complex challenges in multi-faceted organizations into clear, action-oriented plans
  • Experience working with sales leadership and overall field organizations to support revenue growth and differentiation
  • A collaborative team player able to influence / manage through well-developed, cross-functional communication skills and cultural awareness in a matrix organization
WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT  
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google calendar, docs, sheets, slides) on a Mac preferred  
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred  
  • Experience and understanding with working with partners or alliance & channels organizations for midsize and enterprise companies
