Senior Clinical Research Analyst - Remote
Job Description
The Senior Clinical Research Analyst works closely with Prime's Health Outcomes Research team to lead clinical research projects that measure, and report outcomes associated with Prime's clinical programs. The position may serve as a co-author for reports and publications and is responsible for the synthesis of data findings in support of clinical claims and programs.
Responsibilities
- Synthesizes a wide variety of data and outputs into presentations or support materials that can be included in articles for publication in scientific journals, or consumed, interpreted, and presented by various levels within the organization
- Serves as the lead analyst in producing reports, scorecards, or other data using Pharmacy and/or Medical claims data to support projects and initiatives throughout the Integrated Care & Specialty, Sales, and Marketing departments
- Works with the Principal Health Outcomes Researcher and internal clients to refine study concepts, conduct systematic literature reviews, and produce summaries for use in proposals and project deliverables
- Provides subject matter expertise in SQL programming language, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), pharmacy and industry trend, drug approval process, formulary design, and/or claims adjudication to support projects and initiatives throughout the Integrated Care & Specialty, Sales, and Marketing departments
- Develops technical solutions to a variety of complex problems and documents procedures for department use
- Assists in developing intellectual capital specifically linked to Prime, such as a patent
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 5 years of relevant Healthcare experience including: analyzing and using healthcare claims data, clinical research study design, and/or epidemiology
- Previous experience with SQL coding
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced Python programming and Google Cloud Platform skills
- Knowledge and experience with drug and disease terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly analytical and research oriented
- Demonstrated experience solving complex problems through the use of creative processes and analytical tools and software
Preferred Qualifications
- Research Master's Degree (e.g., M.S., M.P.H.)
- Experience following Good Research Practices (GRP) data-handling procedures and guidelines
- Advanced clinical training or certifications
- Previous clinical experience in a managed care, pharmaceutical, or PBM environment
- Experience working with large/complex databases in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry

Potential pay for this position ranges from $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 based on experience and skills.
