Data Integration & BI Developer

Information Technology – Remote (U.S. Based)  

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Data Integration and Business Intelligence Developer to join its IT team.  This professional will design and implement data integration and business intelligence solutions using digital analytics for the enterprise.  

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 

• Experience with database platforms, especially MS SQL Server.
• Strong experience with T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse architecture, extract/transform/load (ETL) and business requirements gathering and analysis.
• Experience with MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards and products as required.
• Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills.
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and public.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of a collaborative team.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Familiarity with Excel PowerPivot and PowerBI
• Familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery and other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio.
• Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including MS Windows Server operating systems, and TCP/IP.
• Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
