Job description

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for Insurance Carrier.

Our Client is one of the United States largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premiums well over US$25 Billion (P&C). They proudly serve more than 10 million U.S. households with more than 19 million individual policies across all 50 states through the efforts of over 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 18,500 employees. Finally, our client is part of one the largest Insurance Groups in the world.

Position Objective:

Prepares and maintains TTB (Top to Bottom) and CCL (claims check liabilities) reconciliations for assigned companies. Analyzes and interprets financial records, research complex issues/errors and providing solutions. Prepares various internal management reports as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in accounting or finance.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting.
  • Data analysis to ensure that the data that goes through SAP is correctly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Analyze financial statements.
  • Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
  • Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.

Software / Tool Skills

  • SAP - Entry Level (1-3 Years)
  • Excel - Intermediate (4-6 Years)
  • SQL - Entry Level (1-3 Years)
  • Data software tools - Entry Level (1-3 Years)
