Job Title: Life Insurance Back Office Assistant (Spanish Bilingual)

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Wage: $5 USD - $9 USD / hr

Schedule: 20-40 hrs/week

VirtueStaff is looking for a dedicated and proactive Life Insurance Back Office Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish to join our remote team. In this role, you will support our life insurance operations by handling administrative tasks and ensuring smooth communication between our team and Spanish-speaking clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in insurance and strong organizational skills, who are fluent in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the processing of insurance applications and policy documentation in both English and Spanish
  • Manage client communications, addressing inquiries and providing information in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of client files and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate with insurance agents and underwriters for efficient processing of applications
  • Prepare and organize reports as needed for management and operational efficiency
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients regarding application statuses and policy updates
  • Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required
  • Translate documents and communications from English to Spanish and vice versa as needed
  • Manage life insurance back office licensing processes
  • Conduct LinkedIn outreach
  • Make calls to insurance companies and clients
  • Attend and host licensing classes with other coordinators
  • Meet with agents individually to complete licensing steps
  • Work on commission processing for agents

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Back Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills in both languages
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products and processing is preferred
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with insurance software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks
