As Director of Ecommerce Sales, you will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration to manage and direct all aspects of the ecommerce business. This will include building a strategy, planning, developing, and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, and monitoring performance analytics, website traffic, and product performance. This role functions as an individual contributor, not as a manager nor does it have direct reports. 

 

So, what will you be doing as a Director of Ecommerce Sales?

  • Developing and implanting ecommerce strategies to increase sales and revenue growth.
  • Managing the company’s website and online sales channels.
  • Creating and overseeing digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
  • Tracking and analyzing ecommerce metrics to monitor performance and make data-driven
  • decisions.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to manage and direct all aspects of the Ecommerce business.
  • Driving the adoption of new technologies and platforms to enhance operational efficiency

         and customer engagement.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce development, online marketing, or
  • digital strategy.
  • Proficient in Ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and technologies.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with professionals in IT, marketing, and
  • sales.
  • Has superior organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of online marketing, web design, and data analysis.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. proficient in Ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing tools.
