Job Description:

We are looking for a Principal Oracle CPQ Consultant who is an upbeat professional and who can thrive in an innovative tech environment and collaborate with clients to deliver high quality service and cutting-edge technology solutions and implementations of Oracle Cloud CPQ applications.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the design and delivery of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions that focus on user experience, extensibility, and performance while meeting the customer’s business objectives
  • Works collaboratively with project teams and clients to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles and problems.
  • Gather, analyze, internalize, and advocate for the customer requirements around their selling processes
  • Effectively design and implement solutions in the CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) platform and related web technologies to meet these customer requirements
  • Experience integrating CPQ Cloud with other Oracle and non-Oracle applications 
  • Perform quality assurance and testing activities, develop unit test scripts and coordinate with the client to perform the User Acceptance Testing of the system enhancements or custom solutions
  • Prepare documentation detailing delivered solutions throughout the engagement 
  • Interact with business stakeholders, client enterprise architects, and the CPQ program, design, development, teams
  • Maintain best supporting practices around CPQ solution including product configuration, proposal development, and related elements

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of client facing consulting experience 
  • 5+ years in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) with experience in BML and BMQL
  • At least 5 years’ experience with project life cycle methodology
  • 3+ years’ experience with Scrum-Agile delivery within a client contracted services environment
  • Proven track record of leading successful CPQ projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and support, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud platform, including configuration, pricing rules, workflows, and integrations.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Experience and familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and XSL
  • Experience on JavaScript and CSS for Oracle CPQ UI Customization
  • Proven experience in migrating code between instances
  • Experience with eCommerce and CRM solutions is a plus
  • Oracle certifications in CPQ Cloud or related areas are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

 

Location: US or Canada remote

Travel: Required

 

 

US Base Pay Disclosure

Accelalpha follows fair and equitable payment practice, considering many factors such as the candidate’s skill set, previous experience, as well as job duties, requirements, responsibilities, and work location. For this position, the expected base salary range is USD $120,000 to $140,000.

Pay increments and frequency of payment will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws.
