Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights: 

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule:

  • 40 hours a week
  • Initial training during Pacific business hours, flexible scheduling afterward

Work Schedule: The client works 7:30-3:30 PST however, they are flexible with their time for the person that comes in. They can work from 2pm PST till 10pm PST if that is more convenient or the client can change that up depending on their time zone.

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Perform detailed financial analysis using Excel
  • Maintain digital documentation systems
  • Support month-end closing procedures
  • Collaborate with team members on financial reporting

Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience with North American companies
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong Excel skills including data analysis
  • Excellent English communication abilities
  • Experience with construction or project-based accounting preferred
  • Understanding of Canadian business practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Available for initial training during Pacific Time business hours
