Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:Hours are flexible or if need to be specific, these hours will work  Wednesday - Friday 3:30 -6:30 EST

Total weekly hours: 15+ hours

You’ll work closely with the business owner and have the freedom to implement best practices. Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the organization and processing of two years of historical financial records

  • Design and implement efficient bookkeeping processes using modern tools and best practices

  • Transform existing Excel-based records into a comprehensive bookkeeping system

  • Manage client invoicing through QuickBooks, expanding its utilization for full financial tracking

  • Create and deliver clear financial reports and updates

  • Establish systematic approaches for receipt management and expense tracking

  • Develop and document procedures for ongoing financial maintenance

  • Provide strategic recommendations for financial process improvements

  • Maintain proactive communication regarding documentation needs and financial queries


Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks

  • Demonstrated experience in financial record organization and management

  • Proven ability to create and implement bookkeeping processes

  • Excellence in written and verbal English communication

  • Strong background in tax preparation requirements and financial compliance

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Experience working in a remote environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with financial information

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset
