Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-profile project focused on streamlining operations and improving data flow across multiple enterprise systems. A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Business Analyst would be:
Process Gap Identification:
Elicit and analyze business requirements to uncover inefficiencies and process misalignments across systems.
Process Mapping:
Design clear, actionable maps of current and future-state business processes to drive operational efficiency.
System Data Flow Analysis:
Investigate how meter data is captured and shared across multiple systems. Identify whether there's a single source of truth or if risks exist due to duplicated manual entries—and recommend improvements.
Collaboration with Developers:
Work closely with database developers to optimize queries and improve system integration.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Lead initiatives focused on root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventative actions to ensure lasting improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders. Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport will be key to your success.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data across systems
- Familiarity with Maximo or similar asset management systems
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping and improvement initiatives
- Solid understanding of data analysis and database concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders effectively
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GIS systems
- Background in utilities or regulated industry projects
- Exposure to Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience implementing corrective and preventative action plans
Opportunity Type:
Contract (4–6 months initially)
Remote-first, with a preference for monthly in-person meetings/workshops in Dublin/Cork
Open to Junior, Intermediate, and Senior-level professionals
