Position Overview
The Sales Operations Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing inventory management, SKU availability, and sales performance through data-driven reporting. This position serves as a bridge between wholesale operations, sales, inventory management, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and data visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain comprehensive sales operations reports focusing on SKU availability, pricing, inventory levels, and product transfers
Monitor and analyze inventory metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and distribute regular reporting to cross-functional teams, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights
Support EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) operations and maintain data integrity across systems
Collaborate with CRM administrators to ensure proper data integration between inventory and sales systems
Provide analytical support for inventory forecasting and demand planning initiatives
Identify process improvement opportunities within sales operations and inventory management
Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize product transfers and inventory allocation
Ideal Profile
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Analytics, or related field
2+ years of experience in sales operations, inventory management, or related analytical role
Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
Understanding of EDI systems and inventory management principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Fulfil, etc.)
Experience working with a 3PL
Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting methodologies
Understanding of sales processes and sales cycle management
Project management experience
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
Beginner or Intermediate knowledge of Notion for project management, task organization, collaboration, and documentation.
Proficiency in Slack for effective communication, collaboration, and team coordination, including channel management, file sharing, and real-time messaging.
Proficiency in GSuite for productivity, document management, and collaboration, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
