Job description

This position is responsible for the management of high profile, large, global, cross functional and strategic IT programs & projects and initiatives in the IT Infrastructure domain of Corporate IT. This is a highly visible position with significant impact on IT deliverables and company objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for the planning to execution of medium to high complexity IT technology projects. The Project Manager will work closely with IT Program Managers, Business sponsors, Technical implementation teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate and manage delivery of IT Infrastructure projects.

Ensures that all project functional and non-functional requirements (such as reliability, scalability, and security,) are documented, incorporated into plans, tracked, and executed appropriately. The Project Manager may work with multiple delivery teams in support of critical business functions.

In the context of complex enterprise projects, works (with minimal supervision) to ensure end-to-end solutions are implemented in alignment with enterprise strategy, security and architectural standards and practices. Develops comprehensive project plans and articulates their dependencies, tradeoffs, risks, and merits to all stakeholders.

Possesses strong Project Management skills and experience. Holds others accountable to drive projects to successful execution and agreed-upon outcomes. Ensures that scope and schedule, including changes, are well understood by all interested parties. Coordinates requirements and deliverables across multiple teams, helping to resolve conflicts, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs and ensure teams understand broad, architecture and enterprise-level priorities and how that affects sequencing.

Communicates frequently and capably with a diverse audience, tailoring channel and message depending on needs and desired outcomes. Is influential and can drive change with minimal direct authority. Can articulate complex technical needs in a way that is understood by a non-technical audience. Is aware of and communicates the end user impact of security technology Projects and projects.

Collaborate with IT PMO Governance role to ensure compliance to organization standards and & contribute in continually improving and maturing our PMO processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred. Master’s degree is beneficial.
  • 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • 5+ years of leading large sized projects, including enterprise-wide projects in IT Infrastructure domain
  • Expert ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic multi discipline projects that impact the organization as a whole.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple teams to achieve buy-in and action.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration & communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver product outcomes.
  • Expert ability in implementing project plans, monitor progress, resource usage and quality and reporting
  • Expert level understanding and ability to manage complex project budgets
  • Expert level knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified.
  • Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong/excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to compose and present business and technical material to technical and non-technical audiences, in particular senior leaders within the organization
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform is also preferred.
  • Preferred experience in IT Infrastructure domain including Data Centers, Unified Communications (Audio & Video), On Prem / Cloud / Hybrid Services (Server, Networks, Core Infra, Storage, Backup, Communications, End Points), new product / technology implementation, Security, Info Security, Data & Analytics based compliance or technology projects.
  • Creating, tracking & reporting project metrics / status including budget vs actuals, capex, bill of material
  • Adept with Change management, ITIL process
