  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform demand generation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Outreach Managers, setting performance expectations and tracking KPIs to drive community engagement.

Location: Must reside in one of TCN’s operational states (PA, MA, DMV, WA, WV)

Reports to: Chief Growth Officer

Direct Reports: Senior and Non-Senior Outreach Managers

As we continue to scale, we seek an experienced National Director Business Development to drive demand generation and community engagement across our multi-state footprint. This individual will lead a high-performing outreach team, cultivate key relationships, and develop strategies to strengthen patient referrals and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a scalable outreach and business development strategy to drive patient referrals, partnerships, and brand expansion across TCN’s geographies.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to engage key referral sources, including primary care providers, hospitals, community organizations, and employer networks.
  • Align outreach efforts with organizational objectives, geographic expansion, and strategic partnerships, collaborating closely with executive leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, payer mix, and regulatory changes to inform demand generation strategies.

Community Engagement & Referral Development

  • Lead targeted outreach campaigns to strengthen referral pipelines and establish long-term partnerships with healthcare systems, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent TCN at industry events, conferences, and community meetings, positioning our organization as a trusted leader in outpatient mental healthcare.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand awareness and market positioning across TCN’s states of operation.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of Senior and Non-Senior Outreach Managers, ensuring alignment with business priorities and outreach effectiveness.
  • While Outreach Managers are individual contributors, provide mentorship, structure, and strategic direction to help them maximize their impact.
  • Set clear performance expectations, track KPIs, and provide coaching to drive referral growth and community engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7-10 years in sales, demand generation, business development, or community outreach within healthcare preferably mental health.
  • Design, implement, and manage incentive compensation plans for national disbursed, diverse sales team.
  • Deep knowledge of various healthcare landscapes, patient acquisition, and referral strategies. Behavioral health preferred.
  • Data-driven with expertise in CRM tools such as Salesforce, market analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Strong executive-level partnership development with healthcare organizations, payers, and stakeholders.
  • Must reside in PA, MA, DMV, WA, or WV.
