Your role: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Data and AI Organization. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in Python and TypeScript to design and architect our cloud-native data and analytics technology stack, which includes AWS and Palantir Foundry. Your passion for cloud technologies will be instrumental in automating and deploying complex services to production. As the team's expert on cloud security and networking, you will ensure that best practices are applied across our four sectors while driving cloud data infrastructure excellence. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager and provide thought leadership to a team of Data, Cloud, and DevOps engineers. Your creativity will help us find innovative, sustainable solutions while maintaining compliance with regulations and ensuring the scalability and uptime of our distributed cloud environments. Additionally, you will take on a functional leadership role, guiding and coaching engineers to enhance our capabilities across the company. This position is remote and can be located anywhere in Spain.
Who You Are
You hold a B.Sc. (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
You have extensive hands-on software development experience, particularly in building cloud-native systems.
You possess technical leadership experience, having built and mentored engineering teams to deliver complex software and services.
You are proficient in ETL design and development using Python/PySpark.
You have in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Palantir Foundry, or Azure, with relevant certifications.
You are experienced in using TypeScript or a similar statically typed language.
You are skilled in infrastructure as code, good API design practices, and containerized applications.
You are an excellent team player, fluent in English, and capable of thinking cross-functionally.
