Job Summary

The M&A Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise during the integration of acquired companies. This role requires extensive experience with REST APIs, Java, Microsoft SQL, ETL processes, and data migration techniques. The M&A Engineer will work closely with the integrations team to ensure seamless data migration, integration, and testing during mergers and acquisitions. The position involves evaluating and aligning technical systems, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring that all technical aspects of acquisitions are aligned with organizational goals.


Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement data migration processes using REST APIs, Java, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data migration requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during migration processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data migration procedures.
  • Test, troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with ConnectWise and Intacct to integrate data from various sources.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure successful data migration.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on data migration best practices.


Job Qualifications


Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field -OR- equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of data delivery and reporting technologies and methodologies.


Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in Java and SQL programming.
  • Extensive experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in various technologies related to the MSP industry
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise and Intaact a plus.
