Data-driven decision-making starts with reliable and meaningful tracking - across both our web platforms and products. To establish a strong foundation for web and product tracking, we are looking for a Product Owner Tracking who will take ownership of our tracking strategy and drive it forward.

In this role, you will act as a Scrum Product Owner for our newly formed Tracking team. You will be responsible for collecting and prioritizing business requirements, translating them into technical user stories, and ensuring the implementation of tracking solutions. As part of a small team, you should also be comfortable contributing hands-on to tracking development.

YOUR TASKS

  • You act as the Product Owner for tracking, defining and prioritizing the backlog for web and product tracking based on business needs.
  • You gather requirements from stakeholders, particularly from Marketing and Sales, and translate them into technical user stories.
  • You define and manage tracking strategies across multiple platforms, including web tracking (Google Tag Manager, GA4) and product telemetry (in-product tracking and product usage data).
  • You work hands-on to implement tracking solutions, especially in the early stages of the team.
  • You ensure tracking data is accurate, reliable, and aligned with business goals, making connections between web analytics, product usage data, and first-party business data.
  • You collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure seamless data integration across all tracking systems.
  • You stay up to date with industry trends, privacy regulations, and emerging tracking technologies, including cookie-less tracking approaches.


YOUR PROFILE

  • You have experience as a Product Owner or Tracking Specialist, ideally in a digital or SaaS environment.
  • You are an excellent communicator and team player, able to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
  • You have a solid understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • You are comfortable with both the technical and business aspects of tracking, translating business needs into actionable tracking solutions.
  • You have strong expertise in web analytics and tracking technologies, including Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), PostHog, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • You have experience with product analytics and telemetry data, connecting web tracking with in-product usage insights.
  • You are hands-on and willing to implement tracking solutions when needed.
  • You have an analytical mindset and a structured approach to ensure high data quality and usability.
  • You have a very good command of English.
