The Opportunity

Planview is seeking a  Senior Platform Product Manager passionate about delivering solutions in support of customer success & retention. The candidate may be based in the US or in Canada. This role focuses on translating Planview’s platform strategy into a mix of capabilities, functionality and technology across multiple development teams and products . The ideal candidate combines an understanding of strategic decision making , a customer-centric mindset, and software and cloud technolog y knowledge . Remote eligible. 

What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Manager, you will define and lead initiatives that ensure our overall platform delivers value, usability, and feasibility. You will identify solutions to intricate, frequently technical challenges that transcend multiple products and domains. You will effectively combine strategic and design thinking with creative problem-solving and technical proficiency to formulate effective solutions. Collaborating across products and teams, you’ll balance user empathy, technical acumen, and business strategy to guide our platform’s success.

  • Developing and owning a multi-year strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborating across product management, development, and user experience to identify and define solutions.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to drive alignment on solutions and priorities.
  • Partnering with product development to sequence and deliver improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: Proven  track record in software and technology roles for 5 years, including 2 years as a product manager delivering solutions to enterprise customers. 
  • Customer-centric Focus : Focus on delivering and clearly articulating the business value of platform concepts and capabilities
  • Platform Mindset : Leads and influences application and data platform development for customer value , scalability, and resilience .
  • Technical Acumen: Experience with Data Lakehouse/ Mesh/Platform concepts (Producer-Consumer model, extensible d ata T axonom ies/Ontologies , M aster D ata M anagement, D ata G overnance, shared services) and related technical disciplines (architecture and solution design) 
  • Leadership : Influences teams without authority, facilitates technical discovery, and architectural discussions.
  • Agility : Works in dynamic, fast-paced environments with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong analytical & organizational skills to  identify  trends in data architectures and downstream analy tics , including systems thinking and the ability to understand complex dependencies . 
  • Has experience working with data engineering teams , building solutions for enterprise customers and stakeholders at scale.
  • Has experience with generative and predictive AI pipelines and processing
  • Experience working with leading c loud technologies and providers - AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead & execute cross-functional initiatives that align with strategic goals. 
  • Familiarity with one or more of project portfolio management, financial management , or resource management.
