Job description

At ZeptoLab, we’re behind Cut the Rope, entertaining millions with our games and stories. We’re looking for a Head of Business Development to help grow our gaming and animation worlds, build partnerships, and lead a talented team. Ready to make an impact with iconic brands? Join us!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the global footprint of Om Nom Stories, Cut the Rope, Bullet Echo and other ZeptoLab properties.
  • Set up KPI goals, contribute to PnL growth.
  • Seek out new opportunities and cross-industry collaborations to grow ZeptoLab's brand presence.
  • Lead and mentor the Business development team focusing on Franchise products (Cut the Rope/ Om Nom) and Mobile Game partnerships. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including TV networks, VOD platforms, game publishers, and distribution partners.
  • Lead negotiations and secure high-value contracts to drive business growth.
  • Present and pitch ZeptoLab’s existing and new products to potential partners, showcasing their value and potential.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities in both Animation and Mobile Games markets.
  • Identify new monetization models and creative revenue streams to enhance ZeptoLab's business strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business development in the gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of successful deal negotiations, licensing agreements, and partnership growth.
  • Strong leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and inspiring a team.
  • Crush on games.
  • Creative and strategic thinker who can identify and develop innovative business opportunities.
  • Trans media global brands and franchises experience is nice to have.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
