Job Description

We are seeking a forward-thinking leader to guide the strategic planning, development, and technical execution of integrated solutions, enhancing and synchronizing applications across the organization. This role involves leading the integration of digital technology into all business areas, fundamentally transforming operations and customer value delivery. The leader will provide strategic oversight across multiple technology functions, focusing on custom software development and digital transformation initiatives. They will champion Agile methodologies, modern software practices, and emerging technologies to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.

  • Strategic Development and Execution: Lead the strategic oversight and execution of complex, Digital transformation initiatives to meet business objectives, ensuring alignment with our long-term vision.
  • Drive modernization:  Lead efforts to fully leverage cloud computing, SaaS solutions, and DevOps practices to improve scalability and efficiency. Implement modern development practices like CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and API-driven integrations for efficient and maintainable software solutions.
  • Innovative Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies by conducting thorough research, ensuring you are well-prepared for new processes and system enhancements.
  • Collaboration with Business Partners: Foster strong collaboration with business partners to understand their needs and deliver integrated solutions that support and enhance business operations.
  • Member Experience & Engagement: Leverage digital platforms to support and enhance customer engagement and retention. Ensure digital solutions align with member needs and expectations partnering with various business functions. Personalized Member Support through AI chatbots and NextGen experience through GenAI solutions.
  • Data & Automation: Use data-driven insights to enhance member experience and personalization. Leverage data for predictive analytics and implement AI-driven automation to reduce costs and improve productivity/experience.
  • Team and Resource Management: Manage team resources and budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization to achieve project goals. Work with cross-functional partners/teams to support the deployment of modern technology and process in targeted area.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and implement a long-term vendor management strategy, including contract negotiation, governance, relationship management, project delivery, and status reporting.
  • Technical Standards and Frameworks: Establish and communicate technical application standards, platforms, and frameworks, ensuring they are effectively utilized across the organization.

Hiring Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in technical integrated solution design and delivery.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of experience as stated above.

Salary Range

At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets,  licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs. 

*Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.
 

$165,800.00 - $331,600.00
