Position Overview: The Program Director will oversee a diverse array of projects, driving business development initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
· Business Development: Lead initiatives to enhance business growth through strategic planning and execution of various projects, including conference strategies and key pitching tactics.
· Project Oversight: Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and alignment with business goals. Provide oversight and guidance to project managers and teams.
· Salesforce Management: Utilize Salesforce to track project progress, manage client relationships, and analyze data for informed decision-making.
· Financial Acumen: Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial principles, including P&L management, to ensure projects are financially viable and aligned with organizational strategies.
· Operational Expertise: Leverage an operations and claims background to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness, assisting with critical operational tasks as needed.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executive stakeholders, presenting project updates and insights with storytelling techniques to drive engagement and support.
· Leadership Development: Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within project teams. Mentor team members and support their professional growth.
· Presentation Skills: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to senior leaders, articulating project objectives, outcomes, and strategic recommendations.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field
· Master’s degree preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or business development, preferably in a related industry.
· Proven experience with Salesforce and project management tools.
· Strong business and financial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to manage P&L.
· Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of influencing executive stakeholders and driving results.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story to diverse audiences.
· Background in operations or claims management is highly desirable.
