  • Assist in preparing client/internal presentations and maintain work instruction documentation.

Job Description

Participate in the execution of projects supporting the Clinical Account Services team. Work under general supervision. Limited degree of independence, creativity and latitude is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Generate reports to facilitate data analysis by clinical team;
  • Develop experience with the reporting system, MedOptimize;
  • Understand client benefit structures and configurations;
  • Develop formulary documents;
  • Develop prior authorization guidelines;
  • Support formulary disruption reporting;
  • Assist with preparing client/internal presentations under the direction of the clinical team;
  • Assist clinical team with formatting documents;
  • Collaborate to improve processes internally to streamline work and outcomes; Collaborate with other departments including but not limited to the Reporting team and Configuration Services team;
  • Maintain work instruction documentation. Complete annual review of work instruction documents and update accordingly.

Education and/or Experience   

Associates degree minimum; one (1) to three (3) years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare, Managed Care, Government Programs or PBM experience is preferred.

                       

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel and Access.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Pharmacy Technician license in good standing is desired, but not required.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, and compose routine correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
